Folk Waltz III Wednesday, July 1 - 22, 7 - 8pm
For advanced folk waltzers who want to achieve a higher level of creativity and expertise, this series offers the whip,
scissors to grapevine and dip, free spins and other advanced moves and styling techniques. Dancers must be competent with
the folk-turning waltz. No partner required. $40 for four weeks. You can register

Blues Dancing I Wednesday, July 1 - 22, 8 - 9pm
Turn your slow dancing into a dynamic and inspired style. This class teaches partners how to establish a strong connection,
develop effective lead/follow skills, and move creatively to express the blues. No partner required. $40 for four weeks. You can
register online.
Online registration is encouraged but you may also register at the door on July 1 in the Ballroom Annex.
Swing & Lindy II Wednesday, July 1 - 22, 9 - 10pm
There's more to swing dancing than 6-count tuck turns and pass-bys! We'll move on to swingouts, 8-count Lindy figures and
Charleston. Gain the experience that helps you express the music in your own dancing. For students who know 6-count triple swing
footwork. No partner or prior experience required. $40 for four weeks. You can register
online.

*Registration Notes: Each 4-week series costs $40, plus a $12 registration fee. If you intend to take
any other Glen Echo classes, and you register for all of them on the same form or during the same online session, you pay the

Red Hot Blues 'n BBQ
Blues Exchange July 17-19
Capital Blues will present a "Red Hot" weekend of blues dancing with Gina Sicilia, Gordon Webster,
and Eli Cook, July 17 - 19.
In addition to the incredible live music, they are also bringing in some of the favorite DJs from around the country to spin
great tunes for their late night and afternoon dances. This is going to be a party you're not going to want to miss!
Mike and Donna will teach just before the Sunday dance with Gina Sicilia in the Spanish Ballroom
at Glen Echo Park on Sunday, July 19. The lesson goes from 7:30 - 8:30 pm, and the dance runs from 8:30 - 11:30 pm. $15 at the door includes
the lesson. We hope you'll join us!

Join the Swing dancers who pack the Ballroom every weekend at Glen Echo Park and learn the dance that brings so much fun
to everyone. Learn basic footwork, partnering skills, and plenty of moves. You'll master the basics and see how easy it is
to dance with anyone. No partner or prior experience required. $40 for four weeks. You can register

Blues Dancing II Wednesday, July 29 - August 19, 8 - 9pm
If you've taken Blues Dancing I or enjoyed a Sunday Blues dance, you are ready to move up to the next level. This class goes beyond
the basics with challenging footwork, dips, and figures. We'll borrow from Argentine tango for more options and improvisation.
No partner required. $40 for four weeks. You can register online.

Argentine Tango Basics Wednesday, July 29 - August 19, 9 - 10pm
Argentine Tango captures the hearts of all dancers with its haunting musical heritage and improvisational figures. Learn basic
lead/follow concepts, ochos, and ganchos. Gain the confidence to dance at any Milonga. No partner required. $40 for four weeks. You can register
online.
