Whether you go on a family trip or by yourself, a day at the National Zoo will be a great adventure. Also, if you have a group that would like to reserve bus parking you can check into one of the zoo package deals they have; not only would that reserve bus parking for your group, it would aslo provide you with a park greeter. The yearly schedule for the National Zoo is as follows: April through October, the Animal exhibits are open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily. For the months of Novemeber through March, the Animal exhibits are open from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. daily. On Occassion, the Zoo will close early for special events so make sure you call ahead for their schedule on the dates you wish to visit. At the Zoo, there are all kinds of food services available and snacks to keep your appetite pleased. There are also many souvenir shops to visit. Make sure you take along your favorite camera to capture memories. Take plenty of pictures of the lions and tigers and don’t forget the ape exhibit. There are several indoor exhibits’ too. Although the zoo is quite a walk, the National Zoo has benches all around their park so those of us who need to rest in between can.
