Georgetown is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Washington D.C., and, today, is one of the trendiest in our nations capital.

Georgetown was established in 1751 as part of a British colony before the District of Columbia even existed. The town was named after a famous George-no, not the famous American President, but not everyone is sure which George.
